Profile:

I graduated with a Law degree from the University of Bristol in July 2018, and dedicated the next year to securing a Training Contract alongside working. Following a successful summer vacation scheme at Mayer Brown, I started the LPC at BPP Law School in September 2020, and my Training Contract in September 2021.

During university I spent most holidays working full-time in the events industry to fund my studies. I am in the first generation of my family to attend university and enter the legal profession, and so useful interactions with those in the profession were few and far between. Aspiring Solicitors provided brilliant social mobility events and the chance to meet lawyers who have gone through similar experiences to myself. I also participated in the Aspiring Solicitors Commercial Awareness Competition 2018/19, reaching the Final, and the Competition put me in great stead for the situations encountered during the application and assessment centre process.

Above all, the conversations I have had with members and affiliates of AS have been crucial in developing my personal brand and helping identify the right legal career for me. I want to pass on the insights I have gained to those in a similar position, so please do feel free to get in touch.
