AS All Star Awards

A number of our partner, affiliate and supporting firms attended the event, with a number of well-wishers sending their regards. The event gives us at Aspiring Solicitors the opportunity to thank all of our partner, affiliate and supporting firms. Within five years, the organisation has grown from one person’s vison and a Facebook group, to an eleven person team working with over 40 law firms, over 40,000 student members and having assisted our members obtain over 1,400 training contracts.

Without the continued support of the firms in attendance we simply would not be where we are today.

Our Founder, Chris White, gave two speeches on the night thanking everyone for attending and emphasising the need to continue to build up what we have achieved so far to continue to change the legal industry. Peter Hasson, Chief Executive of Clyde & Co (one of our Founding Partner law firms) spoke about the importance of diversity and noted how two of the Clyde & Co trainees in attendance came through Aspiring Solicitors.

It was clear by the various conversations in the room on the night that diversity and inclusion means so much to the firms in attendance and real results are starting to be achieved. We intend to keep building on our progress and the forthcoming year could be our most exciting yet, with the launch of our Aspire programme and the AS Foundation*.

Aspiring Solicitors would like to thank everyone from Clyde & Co for their assistance with organising the night and ensuring that it ran smoothly.
