My Law Firm

Profile:

The majority of my secondary education was spent at a struggling state school before moving to a private school for sixth form (on the basis of an academic scholarship). I was fortunate to then be able to attend Oxford University to study history and took a gap year after graduating to apply for training contracts. Upon securing a training contract at Bristows, I then studied the GDL and LPC at BPP University and have been undertaking my training contract for the past two years. I have sat in various departments at Bristows during my TC, including Commercial IP/IT/Data; Brands, Designs and Copyright; Patent Litigation; Real Estate and Life Sciences Regulatory, and was also lucky enough to be seconded to Google for three months to their International Litigation team. I am due to qualify into Bristows’ data protection team in September.

Diversity and inclusion have always been issues close to my heart, especially having been raised in a working class family (both my parents work in the hospitality sector) and as a second generation immigrant. I had few role models growing up who looked like me and that came from a similar background, and it has always been an aspiration of mine to be able to be to the role model that I did not have when I was younger.
