Shaheen Mamun is an innovative solicitor who has made a significant impact in the legal industry. As a co-founder of Black Antelope Law, he has led groundbreaking initiatives that have brought together solicitors and barristers to drive positive change in the legal profession.

Shaheen’s commitment to breaking down barriers and finding innovative solutions to complex legal challenges has earned his numerous accolades and awards. His expertise in maintaining legal, regulatory, performance, and marketing standards has helped shape the direction of Black Antelope Law, where he serves as a director overseeing day-to-day financial administration.

In addition to his work at Black Antelope Law, Shaheen is a passionate social mobility ambassador for the Law Society. His dedication to championing diversity and inclusion in the legal profession has earned her widespread recognition, including being listed as one of the Top 100 Influential Muslims for Championing and Celebrating Diversity and being ranked among the Top 10 Influential Muslims in the Legal Industry.

Shaheen has also been recognized for his outstanding work in immigration law, receiving the Rising Star Award at the SME News Legal Awards 2021. His tireless efforts to promote diversity and inclusion in the legal industry have earned her numerous accolades, including being highly commended as the BSN Rising Star of the Year at the Legal Diversity Awards in 2016.

Shaheen’s visionary leadership has enabled Black Antelope Law to achieve many firsts, including being the first Barrister’s Standards Board regulated law firm to receive a Certificate of well-being from the Bar Council for addressing Mental Health at the workplace.

His commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion has led the firm to commit to the Muslim Employment Charter, sign the Bar Council’s Women in Law Pledge, join the Mayor of London’s Business Climate Challenge 2022, and receive the London Healthy Workplace (Micro) Award by the Mayor of London.
