Profile:

Currently, I am studying the LLM combined with the LPC at BPP University. Prior to this, I graduated with a first class Law degree from the University of Liverpool in 2017. I am due to commence my training contract at Gibson Dunn in August 2021.

I attended a state school in Newham, East London and was raised in a low-income household, which in my case contributed to starting off in the legal industry with no legal connections. At the age of 16, I remember first stepping into a Magic Circle Law firm which, at the time, was immensely daunting.

Through diversity platforms, such as Aspiring Solicitors, I was able to build my network and develop my confidence. It was then through attending various law firm open days and fairs that I was able to secure two vacation schemes, which led to two training contract offers.

I am extremely passionate about helping individuals from socially disadvantaged and ethnic minority backgrounds break into the legal industry. Please do reach out if you have any questions regarding applications or the legal industry generally.
