Profile:
My path to law began unconventionally, as an Egyptology student at Cambridge University, where I became the first person from my family in Blackpool to attend. Currently, I am nearly midway through my training contract, working through seats in Corporate and Media law.
My journey has been shaped by various challenges. Growing up in an economically deprived community, being diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome at a young age, and coming from an Anglo-Italian Catholic background, I’ve often experienced what it means to not quite fit into conventional expectations. These experiences have shaped my admiration for those who aspire beyond the limits of what others expect of them.
To fund my legal conversion degree, I worked at a local fish and chip shop before securing a paralegal position at a small law firm. This eventually led me to London, where I began my training contract with Withers LLP. Having experienced the challenges of building a legal career from scratch, with no shortage of difficulties along the way I am always happy to help others navigate their own professional journeys.
