Profile:

I am a financial restructuring partner at the US law firm, Akin. I trained at a Magic Circle law firm before moving to my current team. I have been a partner for 8 years and work primarily for financial creditors of companies which are in financial difficulties.

I am passionate about diversity and inclusion, and chair the Akin’s London office Inclusion Council and co-chair our firm’s Women’s network. I want to ensure that we create an environment where everybody can be themselves at work and has the same opportunity to succeed. In addition, diversity of thought in leadership is critical to promoting the success of an enterprise. There is still much to do to improve access to and representation in the law.
