Profile:

After my A levels and before university, I worked in a leading barristers chambers. I then decided to go to university and have just graduated with a First-Class Honours in Law. Before and throughout university, I completed many work experience placements in a variety of different firms. This gave me an insight into the different areas of law. In my second year, I participated in a vacation scheme. I secured my training contract in March 2021 during my final year of my degree.

Diversity is extremely important to me. Being state school educated, first generation and from a Non Russell Group, it can be very daunting when seeking work experience and applying for training contracts. However, Aspiring Solicitors taught me to utilise these differences and to not let being from an underrepresented group become a barrier in my career. Being an ambassador for Aspiring Solicitors during university opened up so many amazing opportunities for me including work experience and networking events. I would not be here today without them. I look forward to giving back by becoming a professional ambassador and helping students from underrepresented groups achieve their chosen career.
