Hi there, my name is Arjun and I graduated from the University of Leeds having studied a law degree. I have been a Paralegal for the AA plc for the last year and will begin the LPC in 2019 and will complete my training contract with Baker McKenzie.
At University I first became involved with Aspiring Solicitors having taken part in the Commercial Awareness Competition and becoming a Campus Ambassador. It was through there I became more involved with Aspiring Solicitors. They have been instrumental in helping me secure my Vacation Scheme and ultimately my training contract. Namely the competition has been the best platform to help prepare myself for numerous assessment centres. In addition, the workshops AS provide have helped me to understand how to turn my internship into a job offer.
As a British Indian, diversity is extremely important to me. I believe that diversity is about bringing people from diverse backgrounds together and working towards a common goal. Diversity is a powerful tool for motivation as it can show future generations anything is possible. I am passionate about the work that Aspiring Solicitors does in order to help candidates achieve their career goals.
I am more than happy to answer any questions and share my advice with regards to the application process and beyond, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
