We are delighted to offer 1-2-1 mock interviews to AS members who are strictly invited to interviews/assessment centres with an AS partner firm (see here for a full list).

Each mock interview is up to 30 minutes and takes place via phone call (or WhatsApp for anyone not currently in the UK) with a member of AS’ expert coaching team, consisting of former lawyers, graduate recruitment managers and certified coaches.

You must have secured a work experience or Vacation Scheme interview or Training Contract interview to book a session.

You may book a maximum of two mock interview sessions in any quarter (i.e. every three months).




Mock interviews are only available for members (from at least one of our underrepresented groups listed below) who have secured a Training Contract or Vacation Scheme interview with one of our Partner law firms.

  • Socially mobile (given this is not a defined characteristic in the Equalities Act 2010, there are multiple variations of this meaning but Aspiring Solicitors considers this to include (but not limited to) candidates who (i) were eligible for free school meals or pupil premium aged 11-16 due to financial limitations (ii) state school comprehensive educated and first generation of their family to attend university (iii) spent time in local authority care (iv) came to this country as a refugee)
  • Black, asian or minority ethnic
  • LGBTQ+
  • Disabled or who have a neurodiverse or long term health condition
