Profile:
I grew up in rural Wales. My mum was a single mother who worked extremely hard to support myself and my brother. I attended a failing state school until I was lucky enough to receive a scholarship to attend an academically rigorous sixth form. This completely changed my outlook on life. I often think about how lucky I have been and feel passionate about aiding social mobility in any small way I can.
After school, I lived in Australia, working as a waitress to support my travels. I also lived in Spain for a while, learning Spanish. After my gap years, I studied philosophy and art history at UCL, a degree I remain passionate about. After obtaining my training contract, I completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Law and SQE. I am now in my second seat.
