I started out reading Russian and French at university before making the jump to law. Having completed the GDL and LPC at BPP, I am now a trainee at Freshfields. I’m always happy to answer queries and give guidance on the application process for VS and TC! My top tip would be to find a friend to go through the experience with. I have experienced first hand the monumental difference that diversity makes to not just a law firm, but to any community. A range of voices and backgrounds always leads to the most interesting and innovative ideas. I chose Freshfields because of their commitment to diversity, and have definitely not been disappointed.
