Profile:

I am currently a Trainee Solicitor at Kennedys Law LLP. I’m state school educated and studied my LLB Law degree at the University of Liverpool. After completing my undergraduate degree, I was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study my LLM at Indiana University in the USA. Studying abroad was always something I wanted to do, and moving to Indiana for a year was an amazing experience! I then went straight from my LLM into completing my LPC and then started my training contract in September 2024.

I knew I was always interested in law, but quickly realised the struggles of getting a job in the industry early on, especially as no one else in my family works in the legal profession. I joined Aspiring Solicitors as a Mentor because I believe it’s important to support the next generation of legal professionals in any way possible. D&I really is a key to unlocking the legal industry and should be embraced and celebrated throughout. It is essential to ensuring the profession remains inclusive and that everyone feels like they belong.
