I recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in History before embarking on my law conversion in London. Having completed a Winter Vacation Scheme with NRF, I am now a future trainee and am looking forward to joining the firm for a training contract.

As a recent applicant, I know how daunting the process can be. The industry can often seem impenetrable to outsiders and without many connections in the City, gaining insight into the different firms can be difficult.

Joining AS made all the difference for me in demystifying the process. Attending Open Days and speaking to solicitors really helped me to refine the types of firms I should apply to. Diversity is key to maintaining a high standard for the industry and to forgo this would be to lose valuable talent.
