Profile:

I graduated from Durham University with a 2:1 in LLB Law. After finishing my LPC at BPP, I secured a winter vacation scheme with Linklaters. I was able to turn that vacation scheme into a training contract. I will start my training contract in March 2018.

Comparing my experience in smaller law firms with my vacation scheme at Linklaters, I was sure that Linklaters is the right firm for me. I would be happy to discuss how I made this decision with any aspiring solicitor.

Another reason why I chose Linklaters was the importance it gives to diversity. I hope to contribute to the firm’s efforts once I join the firm.

As I applied for training contracts for three years in a row and finally secured a training contract with my dream firm, I can fully appreciate how difficult it is to find a training contract. Having a disability and being an international student made this progress even daunting for me. What made the difference was to know the application and interview techniques. This is why joining the Aspiring Solicitors is essential for anyone who wants a career in law!
