Profile:

I’m currently a Trainee Solicitor at Bird & Bird. I have a background in ethics and compliance, and company secretarial work. I was always eager to get into law, but I struggled to find the right way. Of course, I know now that there is no “right way” to become a solicitor and working with people who come from all walks of life is what makes for a really strong law firm (and really strong lawyers!).

After working in-house at a tech company for several years, I knew that I wanted to work at a firm that could deliver cutting-edge advice, with the chance to work with lawyers who were genuinely passionate about their industry and practice area. I also wanted to be part of a supportive and collaborative culture; somewhere that I could learn a lot and enjoy what I was doing at the same time. That’s why I chose Bird & Bird.
