Profile:
I studied Law at the University of York and I originate from Toronto, Canada. My background includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo Canada, two years experience at the Ministry of the Attorney General, and various internships at commercial law firms. In 2016, I undertook the accelerated LPC, prior to embarking on my career as a Trainee Solicitor at Linklaters LLP in 2017. I am now a Lawyer at Abu Dhabi Investments Authority.
As an international student, I recognize many of the difficulties and challenges faced by students looking to secure vacation schemes and/or training contracts.
Early on in my law degree, I recognized the importance of extracurricular activities and was fortunate enough to partake in a number of them offered by Aspiring Solicitors, such as: Insight days, Lawyer Lunches, and the inaugural Aspiring Solicitors Commercial Awareness Competition.
I look forward to sharing my experiences and encouraging those who may otherwise be discouraged to pursue a career in commercial law.
