“I was first introduced to Aspiring Solicitors when I joined the AS First programme as a way to find out more about commercial law and city firms. This programme was instrumental in aiding me to secure a place on a first year scheme at a silver circle law firm. Subsequently as I went into my second year I was delighted to take part in the AS Aspire programme where the coaches gave invaluable advice on how to gain a place on a vacation scheme and then how to convert this into a training contract offer through the Headstart programme. I was also very privileged to take part in firm specific events which I was invited to by AS. I especially appreciated the time taken to answer any questions that the participants of the various programmes that I was a part of had as well as the tailored application advice during the group sessions and the one-to-one interview prep that the team at AS offered.
