I am honoured and delighted to be awarded the “All Star Individual Commitment To Increasing Diversity and Inclusion 2018”. Having worked with AS over the last four years, it has been amazing to see how far Chris and the team have grown the organisation, as well as how much they have achieved since being founded in 2013.
The effort the AS team put in to support their members does not go unnoticed. It is great to see an organisation that exists to inspire and assist students from diverse backgrounds enter the legal profession. In addition, AS have truly helped to shift the mind-set of law firms, highlighting stand out students who may not fit the traditional mould.
Having joined Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) this year, it has been great to see the importance placed on diversity and inclusion. I see this as a fundamental aspect of everything we do within our Graduate Recruitment and Development team. We are working closely with the Diversity and Inclusion team to identify how we can continue to foster an inclusive and diverse working environment for all globally. A significant advancement is that, we at BCLP, are proud to announce that we will be partnering with AS from 2018 for the next three years.
