Key Information

After three hugely successful programmes between 2021-2023, Channel 4 is once again partnering with Aspiring Solicitors for a summer work experience scheme for selected Aspiring Solicitors’ Members that attend Channel 4’s Open Day.

High performers on the open day, will then be selected for a legal work experience or mentoring scheme opportunity with Channel 4!

The Channel 4 Legal team consists of lawyers and legal professionals who advise the corporation on legal, rights, regulatory compliance and ethical matters in the acquiring, making and broadcast of programmes and advertising and promotional content on all Channel 4 platforms.

The scheme covers the wider commercial affairs team at Channel 4, so students will gain an insight into various legal teams and their functions ranging from Legal and Content Compliance, Business Affairs and Corporate Legal, just to name a few. The purpose of this Open Day is to help improve diversity in the broadcast legal sector.

This wonderful opportunity offers participants an experience that every future employer will want to ask you about during your interview!

Candidates should have an interest in pursuing a career as a lawyer or legal professional in the media sector. We welcome applicants from across the UK: 50% of the places are reserved for those who live outside of London.
