Virgin Money is offering two students the opportunity to spend one week with the Newcastle legal team, based in the Gosforth office. The role is unpaid, but will give the students the chance to join in the corporate, commercial, capital markets, banking, and employment work of the varied legal team. Students will also be able to meet colleagues from across the wider business, and be part of the dynamic atmosphere that is Virgin Money.
Travel expenses up to £100 will be refunded.
To apply for this programme you must:

- You should be an undergraduate Law or non-Law student at any one of Teesside, Sunderland, Newcastle or Northumbria universities.
- Ideally, Virgin Money would like to provide an opportunity for first year Law or second year non-Law undergraduates.
- Want to pursue a legal career at a commercial law firm; and
- Submit your CV
Identify as at least one of the following underrepresented groups
- Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic; and/or
- At least two of the following: I am from low income family, I am state school educated (whether in the UK or overseas), I am first generation to attend university, I am a refugee and I have been in local authority care; and/or
- Disabled and/or who have and long term health conditions; and/or

- Primary carers.
When will the placement take place?
The placement will take place in July/August.
