C4 Commercial Affairs Work Experience and Mentoring Schemes with Aspiring Solicitors

After a hugely successful programme in 2021, Channel 4 is once again partnering with Aspiring Solicitors for two work experience schemes (Summer and Winter) and a mentoring scheme for selected Aspiring Solicitors Members. This time they are expanding it to include the wider commercial affairs team at the Channel, so students will gain a greater insight into their legal function. The purpose of this scheme is to help improve diversity in the broadcast legal sector.

This superb opportunity offers participants an experience that every future employer will want to ask you about during your interview.

The Team is based in London and Leeds and consists of lawyers and legal professionals.  It advises the corporation on legal, rights, regulatory compliance and ethical matters in the acquiring, making and broadcast of programmes and advertising and promotional content on all Channel 4 platforms.

Candidates should have an interest in pursuing a career as a lawyer or legal professional in the media sector.  Applicants can apply for just mentoring, just work experience, or a combination of both.  We welcome applicants from across the UK: 50% of the places are reserved for those who live outside of London.
