The Opportunity

The opportunity will be available for between 4-8 Aspiring Solicitors members to gain an insight into an in-house legal working environment.  The successful applicants will be immersed in the legal team of the organisation and will also benefit from a range of business focused experiences.

Who Should Apply?

– There are no pre-defined grade requirements for this opportunity but successful applicants must stand out from the competition in some way/ways.

– Any Aspiring Solicitors members who are committed to a career in law and who have demonstrated excellence or exceptional commitment throughout their career to date in ways including but not limited to: academic excellence, pro bono work/volunteering, sporting achievements or balancing legal studies with care for family members.

ASAP! Places will be offered on a rolling basis so please ensure you have promptly completed the above steps.

Further Information

Laing O’Rourke will pay £250 per week towards the travel and subsistence costs of each work experience attendee.  Please note that their offices are based in Dartford, Kent and you will be expected to make your own way to the office each day.
