Aspiring Solicitors and Reed Smith are excited to be delivering the sixth AS Pride, our longest running annual flagship diversity event, celebrating the LGBTQ+ community within the legal profession.
This event allows AS Members to build their knowledge, confidence and network ahead of applying for training contracts.
You will have the opportunity to meet other AS Members virtually, hear from LGBTQ+ role models and gain insights and advice about how to secure your dream career whilst being true to yourself. Panel sessions will discuss how far the profession has come, the obstacles to achieving equality and fairness for the entire spectrum and measures being implemented to maintain this progress.

- be in any year of study at undergraduate or postgraduate level or be a graduate;
- want to pursue a legal career at a commercial law firm; and
- be LGBTQ+ or have an interest in developing understanding and awareness of the LGBTQ+ community in the legal profession.
Please note all AS events are for those who are from an under-represented group in the legal profession and this event focuses on those who are LGBTQ+ and/or who would like to learn more about LGBTQ+ communities.
