Employability Programmes

In 2017/2018, we ran five Mentoring Programmes in conjunction with our expert team, supporters and partner firms and organisations. Over 100 AS members were offered the opportunity to be mentored on different aspects of the legal graduate recruitment process, from strategy to application forms, to interviews and assessment centres, to vacation schemes.

In 2016/2017, 69% of those who completed our Mentoring Programmes were offered training contracts and/or vacation schemes, with a further 17% reaching interview stage for training contracts or vacation schemes.

Anyone participating will benefit, whether from improving application forms or interview technique, or being able to demonstrate the commerciality that most firms look for.
