Channel 4 & Reed Smith legal work experience for students with a disability

Channel-4-logo-2015Diversity champions Channel 4 and Reed Smith are offering a unique opportunity to two individuals with disabilities to experience working in the law in both a creative media environment and in one of the world’s biggest law firms.

The work experience will run for a week from Monday 5th to Friday 9th September and will be split between Channel 4’s award winning Legal & Compliance team and Reed Smith’s offices in London.

During the week, the successful applicants will also have the opportunity to participate in an event for students with disabilities taking place at Reed Smith’s offices aimed at helping students with the recruitment process and with their ongoing careers.

Skills and experience required:

  • First year of university completed before September 2016
  • Strong academic record
  • Keen interest in the media industry
  • Enthusiasm and interest in the law
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of the legal industry
  • Commercially minded
  • Excellent attention to detail
