The Russell Group’s dominance of this year’s Competition may be explained by the fact that no fewer than 7 of these universities featured in the Top 20 have seen their entries rocket compared to last year.
Durham, sitting pretty at second, surpass their 2017 entries by some distance, with UCL, Exeter and Southampton posting mammoth increases on 2017 entries. Congratulations to Lancaster for bucking the Non-Russell Group trend by trebling their entries this year.
Most of the winners from the last two Commercial Awareness Competitions did not study at a Russell Group university which is testament to the CV blind format of the Competition.
