It is humbling to receive the Aspiring Solicitors Diversity Inspiration Award at the AS Awards 2019. Thank you to all of the students and campus ambassadors who made my time as Universities Officer so memorable.
It was great to be able to give back and work for the organisation that supported me in securing a training contract – but it was even greater to play a part in ensuring that the AS Aspire 2019/20 coaching cohort are 71% BAME. This is a testament to the hard work that the AS team put in daily across the UK.
A massive thanks to the team at Aspiring Solicitors, and their part in supporting and providing opportunities to these students to ensure that they secure the training contracts that they deserve.
I am looking forward to many more years of progress in helping underrepresented students start their career in the legal profession.
