Profile:

I am a future trainee at Skadden and will be joining the firm in August 2023. I joined AS early in the first year of my Law and Politics degree at Queen Mary and went on to complete the First and Aspire programmes. In my second year, I was fortunate enough to win the AS Commercial Awareness Competition 2020-21, through which I completed a vacation scheme at Skadden. AS’ support has been pivotal to my success as by the end of my second year, I had five training contract offers to choose from (Clifford Chance, Dechert, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Slaughter and May and Skadden).

Coming from a diverse background myself, I understand how daunting it is to venture into the City. However, organisations like AS have been instrumental in helping me break into the legal industry.
