Profile:

I am currently an Associate at Michelmores LLP. I studied law at the University of Bristol and graduated in 2012. Prior to completing the LPC, I worked as a Paralegal. I later completed the LLM LPC at the University of Law, Bristol before starting my training contract in 2016 and qualifying in 2018.

Being a first-generation lawyer, I had no connections in the legal field. It was therefore difficult to get exposure to the industry at the early stages of my education and career. Nevertheless, following completion of a number of work placements and working as a Paralegal, I was fortunate enough to be offered a training contract.

It is well known that the legal profession is becoming increasingly more demanding. From my own experiences, I appreciate the difficulties and obstacles some who wish to pursue a career in law face. I am therefore keen to help increase access to the profession. I also believe that diversity within the legal profession is critical and support Aspiring Solicitors’ goal of increasing the same.

Whether you wish to discuss the application process or anything else, please do get in touch if I can be of any help.
