Profile:
My education began in Edinburgh, a great city for many reasons, but a place where ethnic diversity is limited. I went on to study Politics at Durham University which shares with Edinburgh a lack of diversity. During my final year at Durham, I received a place on Simmons & Simmons’ summer vacation scheme, after which I was offered a training contract. Growing up with limited exposure to role models that look like you can lead to a narrow perception of a successful professional. As I pursue a career in law, I would love to help and learn from the experiences of anyone who may feel deterred by a lack of diverse role models in the legal industry.
I have now completed the GDL and LPC, before commencing my training contract in 2021. After completing my training contract at Simmons & Simmons, I am now an Associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP. Please get in touch if you have any questions about law firm applications or assessment days.
