- State school educated
I am a partner and head of Stephenson Harwood’s marine and international trade practice. I specialise in shipping, carriage of goods, contentious ship finance disputes and ship and offshore vessel construction. Clients include banks, shipowners, traders and P&I clubs/insurers.
Acting for some of the world’s largest and most well-known shipowners, I deal with a wide range of matters from cargo claims and off-hire disputes to groundings and vessel fires. On the contentious ship finance side, I represent leading ship finance banks in a wide array of disputes arising from both pre and post-delivery finance.
I completed my studies at London University and then my training contract at DLA Piper. I moved to Stephenson Harwood and in 2008 I was made up to partner and subsequently took on the role as the head of the group in summer 2013.
At Stephenson Harwood, we want to inspire people across diverse backgrounds to access the full range of opportunities available to them in a professional law firm. We want to encourage a culture of inclusivity where everyone feels supported to meet their full potential in the work place.
I am happy to try to help answer any questions that you may have.
