Profile:

I attended my local comprehensive school in North London and was unsure of what I wanted from my future career. Neither of my parents had attended university and I was the first in my immediate family to do so, reading English and Related Literature.

I’ve worked as a paralegal at a high street firm, as well as ad-hoc legal experience and waitressing. I worked temporarily for the legal team of a television and film company, before working for a gaming company. During this time, I applied for training contracts and found that my experience working for in-house legal teams really assisted my understanding of the legal sector.

After completing a Vacation Scheme and receiving a training contract offer at Bird & Bird, I’m now an Associate in Commercial, focusing on Retail & Consumer, Wellness, and Media, Entertainment & Sport. I’ve really enjoyed my experience at Bird & Bird so far and would encourage anyone interested in a legal career to pursue it.
