Profile:

I began working at Irwin Mitchell in 2017 as a Trainee Solicitor. I was fortunate enough to then qualify with Irwin Mitchell in September 2019 and I now specialise in Serious Injury, predominantly dealing with cases where people have suffered a brain, spinal or orthopaedic injury as a result of accidents at work or road traffic collisions.

I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 15 and I am passionate about reducing the stigma associated with disabilities. I believe that we must put our colleagues health and happiness at the forefront of our interests and that doing so will also aid the service we are providing to our Clients.

The greatest piece of advice I have ever been given is “if you doubt yourself, others will doubt you too”. I continue to remind myself, and others, that a person is not defined by their disability. We are all, regardless of any personal challenges we may face, able.

I am so grateful and excited to support people through their journey into the legal industry, and I hope to be able to promote and celebrate diversity, whilst helping to reduce the stigma of disabilities.
