Profile:

By way of background, I studied my LLB at the University of Bristol (graduated July 2020) and then studied an LLM at the University of Cambridge (graduated July 2021) before completing my LPC.

I am now a trainee at Charles Russell Speechlys in the Guildford office (2022-2024), and my first two seats have been in Tax, Trusts and Succession and Private Property. I am passionate about improving access to the legal profession and since joining CRS I have become heavily involved in the firm’s DE&I initiatives – I am a member of the Social Mobility Committee and a mentor in the Career Start Programme.

My best piece of advice to training contract applicants would be to use every opportunity you can to get external help, support and feedback. I found career advisors at University extremely beneficial to enable me to develop my skills and confidence prior to assessment centres and interviews – it’s definitely worth practising as much (and as early) as you can!

Having completed applications and attended interviews for Training Contracts as well as LLM programmes, I’d be happy to answer any questions you have about these or about any of my experiences.

Please do get in touch and good luck!
