My Law Firm

Profile:

I moved to the UK from Italy at the age of six, not speaking a word of English – so some of my earliest memories involve feeling alienated and different to my peers. Luckily, despite a lack of resources and specialised training, the state primary school I attended put a huge amount of effort into helping me learn. I went on to a state secondary school and sixth form, before heading to the University of Exeter to study Law with French Law.

After university, I didn’t breeze through vacation scheme and training contract applications – it took a couple of recruitment rounds, and a lot of perseverance and patience. It was a tiring and often disheartening process – but it made achieving a training contract offer with RPC all the more gratifying. I studied the LPC at BPP, before completing my training with seats in Commercial
Disputes, Financial Risks, Construction and Commercial, Technology and Outsourcing – where I ultimately qualified in September 2018. I now specialise in commercial contracts, advertising and marketing, data protection and consumer law, and have been fortunate enough to spend time on secondment with two of RPC’s clients in the technology space.

I am also involved in RPC’s diversity efforts, with particular interest in gender balance in the workplace – I am part of the Allies Programme, a buddy for our Reignite Academy joiners, and a member of the Gender Workstream.

There is still a lot of work to be done to improve diversity in the legal industry, and I am keen to be part of that process – Aspiring Solicitors is a huge step in the right direction. I look forward to
answering any questions you might have. Please feel free to get in touch!
