Now the world’s largest law firm, Dentons’ global team builds agile, tailored solutions to meet the local, national and global needs of private and public clients of any size in more than 125 locations serving 50-plus countries.

We are proud to be one of a small number of founder members of Aspiring Solicitors and to have over ten Professional Ambassadors within the firm who are all committed to providing access to the profession to Aspiring Solicitors members.

As a global law firm we are, by our very nature, a diverse community. Building on this, it is important that we reflect the environment in which we live and work. Essential to our success is our ability to attract and retain the best talent from a diverse range of backgrounds.

Dentons is committed to equality and diversity in all our employment practices.  We work to provide an environment which engenders our employees to have respect for the individual, understanding of differences and the benefits diversity brings to the firm.  In the UK, we do this through our recruitment processes, induction and training and through our Diversity Group, which has several employees and Partners as members. The Group ensures that our employees are well represented in decisions made on diversity issues and encourages new initiatives to raise awareness of differing backgrounds.

Our women’s network, with an internal and external focus, aims to recruit, train, promote and retain female talent through coaching, mentoring and sponsorship; and recognising the importance of our women in building and strengthening client relationships including interaction with our client’s and industry women’s networks.

Our LGBT network group, GLOW, provides a supportive, visible environment for LGBT staff and partners, as well as promoting a greater sense of understanding of LGBT issues among non LGBT-colleagues.

We encourage diversity not only through our own practices, but also by supporting projects dedicated to advancement. These include Pure Potential and the Social Mobility Foundation, which help thousands of aspiring students each year; our contribution to the BSN Diversity Legal Table; the Birkbeck project, which works to increase access to higher education and Mosaic, a project that aims to raise the aspirations of young Muslims and expand their access to life-changing opportunities.
