Profile:
I qualified as a solicitor in 2003 at Brachers solicitors. I then joined Thompsons solicitors in London practising Personal Injury. I have been working at Clyde & Co (formerly Barlow Lyde & Gilbert) since 2005. I am in the Casualty and Healthcare Department acting for Defendant insurers and dealing with employers’ liability, road traffic accident and public liability claims. I am honoured to be an Ambassador for Aspiring solicitors.
I sustained a spinal stroke in 2008 overnight, which means that I am now a full time wheelchair user. I returned to work after 18 months following a 6 month period in rehabilitation learning to live with a spinal cord injury. Returning to work has been an important part of my rehabilitation and acceptance of my injury allowing me to live a fulfilled life.
